WEST- Chapter Nirmaan would focus on Labour Rights which would be executed by the volunteers trying to spread awareness amongst the laborers regarding their rights and beneficiaries. SOUTH- Through Chapter Dhwani, the volunteers will spread awareness in the target population, which is school-going children about their respective rights to freedom of speech and expression.

SCORE, in the month of August, launched a survey, ARC: Assessing Research Competencies in medical students. Based on the Basic Research Competencies Framework, it aimed to assess the base level of research knowledge, aptitude and skill-set in an Indian medical student. The objective was to identify the areas where the students need to be capacitated with the required skills to expedite the dynamic advocacy process in research. It was conducted via Google Forms over a time period of 2 months. The participants were thus inculcated with the required aptitude towards research related activities. The goal was to expedite the dynamic advocacy process in research and promote research collaborations with the use of the Survey report and to identify the lacking domains of research competence in medical undergraduates, and target those domains to make future REAs for the term 2022-23

Addictions of all kinds have always been infamous, yet only little light is shed on behavioural addictions which present as an uncontrollable urge to repeatedly engage in certain kinds of behaviours, for example, excessive shopping, gambling, internet surfing. Hence, to combat the lack of awareness and promote effective management of such addictions, the Standing Committee on Medical Education (SCOME) had introduced a new facet in their initiative to battle addiction through Drop the Dope 3.0, an activity based on group discussion that focuses on the effects, diagnosis and management of behavioural addiction.

With a vision of a world in which there is enthusiastic participation of medical undergraduates in the field of research through their active involvement and promotion of research exchanges and activation of colleges , SCORE 101- The encyclopedia of being a LORE was conducted On 22nd and 23rd September 2022. This event was graced by the presence of 5 generation NOREs. This was an one time online capacity building session which was conducted on zoom platform where Capacitation was done in terms of activation of colleges and conduction of induction for the research exchanges. A themed PDT and UAT session was also organized where the participants were divided into teams and they prepared PDT/UAT presentations. The capacity building session was organized for all the appointed LOREs as a training workshop of 8 hours so they understand how to activate their colleges by the next exchange season or by the end of their term.

In India, public health education is delivered mainly under Community Medicine. A study showed that while nearly 89% of students agreed that learning Community Medicine during MBBS is very essential, about 83.7% students felt the need of additional field visits or practical assignments to encourage interest in the subject.Only 12% students showed interest in Community medicine as a speciality. To address this issue SCOME and SCOPH launched a project- Project redefine in three phases: The first phase is an SWG of 17 members that, alongside the coordinators, created a questionnaire to gather information on perception of public health education in India. The second phase of the project is holding a Panel Discussion with prominent stakeholders and using the report of the same to promote the next phase. The third phase of the project: local and national level Advocacy Campaigns is under process.

Open access week was conducted from 24th October to 30th October by SCORE-MSAI. It was covered in 2 parts, the first included launching a social media campaign called ‘one photo one story campaign’ and the week concluded with an empowering webinar which was delivered by our NORE Incomings Kritika Malik and an external speaker, Sanae Majdouli from SCORE IT. A) The one photo one story campaign was an anecdotal account of the participants on social media platform where they shared about their experience of dealing with research resources on various medical platforms. B) The webinar aimed to educate the participants who were in attendance about the definition, types and the importance of open access in the medical field and research domains which was covered by trainers of the national team of MSAI.

In today's society, the intersex community faces significant challenges, particularly concerning non-consensual surgeries performed on intersex children. These procedures, aimed at conforming to societal norms, often result in lifelong harm and are rarely medically necessary. SCORA hosted a letter-writing competition with the aim of fostering awareness, challenging societal mindsets, and creating a healthcare system that embraces and supports the intersex community. By promoting inclusivity and dismantling binary views of sex, the goal is to ensure that intersex individuals feel safe and accepted when seeking medical care. Doctor-patient relationship is a crucial element in medical setups and is often difficult to establish due to differences in the languages spoken. Thus to overcome this barrier SCOME launched a project, L.I.P.I- language in Patient Interaction. The phase one was an SWG to develop a toolkit for the medical students to aid them in learning basic vocabulary of certain regional languages. Phase 2 involved an on-ground worksheet based activity. This activity furthers our vision of developing competent healthcare students with worksheets to help the health workforce with the basics of the vernacular language of the region they are studying in.

To promote undergraduate research projects by creating an open source manual using a Small Working Group, SWG Search for Research Search for research was a collaborative project between two standing Committees, SCOME and SCORE. The SWG was divided into 2 groups : MANUAL TEAM -This small working group aimed to curate a precise and thoughtful research manual to facilitate the participants into actively taking up research projects by methodically empowering them for the same. RESEARCH TEAM -It consisted of 16 members. The members are working on a Pan Nation Research project. A webinar "Search for Research - An online webinar on STS and formulating your own research questions'' was conducted with an External speaker Dr. Prakash B. Patel on 7th November,2022. It was also followed by an interactive session consisting of a dialog between the speaker and the participants.
