Standing Committee on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights including HIV & AIDS
Welcome to SCORA!
The Standing Committee on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights including HIV and AIDS is a gathering of passionate individuals who are committed to promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and creating positive change in their local communities.
Our vision is to create a world in which every individual is empowered to exercise their Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights equally and free from stigma and discrimination. We work to create safe spaces where everyone is empowered to express their views and opinions on SRHR issues and to provide our members with the tools necessary to advocate for sexual and reproductive rights within their communities in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner.
SCORA in India works on five Focus Areas which are aligned with IFMSA SCORA’s Focus Areas. These are: Maternal Health and Access to Safe Abortion (MHASA), HIV and AIDS and other STI’s (HAS), Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI), Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
